Hi! I'm Michael Leverentz.

I’m a certified Somatic Coach with a passion for helping people live more empowered, purposeful lives. Since graduating from the Coaches Training Institute in 2003, I’ve spent over two decades expanding my skills through individual and group work, integrating a wide range of personal growth modalities into my practice. I love what I do because I get to witness people gaining the tools they need to navigate life with greater clarity, satisfaction, and confidence. My own journey began with career struggles, and through applying this work to my own life, I’ve built a fulfilling career and meaningful relationships.

In addition to my coaching work, I also find great joy in teaching math, especially to young people. I’m deeply committed to every student’s success and strive to create a safe, supportive environment where they feel seen, capable, and motivated. I connect with my students not just academically but personally—taking an interest in their lives, their interests, and helping them recognize their own potential. Watching them build confidence and resilience while strengthening their math skills is one of my greatest rewards.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me hiking, biking, or spending time in nature. I cherish time with family and friends, and I’m a devoted supporter of the local arts—especially theater, dance, and music. I grew up attending performances at the Children’s Theatre Company in Minneapolis with my parents, and I’ve carried that tradition forward with my own children.

Whether I’m guiding someone through personal transformation or helping a student grasp a difficult math concept, my approach is grounded in connection, curiosity, and the belief that growth is always possible.
